Normally i dont like to post topics that would bring "heated" discussions to the general forum, but (/sarcasm) I heard two days ago that a tamed salamander and a tamed angel were given out to various players for finding a certain store at some time....
Not to mention the overall unfairness of this event, and the lack of announcement before hand, Im going to shift focus over to another player earlier in the year of rappelz rupees.
About 3months ago there was a random drop give away event on every server. On bahamut, a white dragon card UNTAMED was given to a newbie alt named Psylor. Now apparently he was given offers of up to 200m+ for the card, but kept it. About 3 weeks later the gms removed from his inventory, citing that it was a mistake....
ok First off, what gives you guys the right to hand out free tamed angels/sallys to other random players, but take out a given away untamed white dragon card...
Second off, Why do you guys, yes you Gms, continue to do random SOB gets lucky events, which i gaurantee most people hate unless they win. Why not something like the eggs event where EVERY1 benefits.
Third, I appreciate events you guys do, but giving out tamed cards hurts the ppl that work for them... I'll cite an example using u guys to prove it rappelz rupees.
Galanet decides to reward its Gms with a decent cash bonus. BUT, only one random Gm gets it..... The bosses decide to hide the certificate in a coffee cup, that way a random person going for coffee would get it...
and Tanda wins it...
Needless to say not all the gms are gonna be happy about it.... some congratulate... others pk everything in sight.. Was it fair? NO
Oh yeah, rappelz rupees,Tehlaw was on vacation when they handed this out.... Wouldnt that SUCK....
